ISSUE Project Room, a critically acclaimed non-profit performing arts
organization based in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a full-time Development
Director.   The development director will be a fundraising executive
with a minimum of three years experience in performing or visual arts
field, and a proven record of fundraising in both capital campaigns
and annual giving programs.   The development director will be
responsible for the organization's capital, endowment and operational
campaigns. ISSUE has just announced a $2.4 million capital campaign,
and the development director must be able to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities and Duties:  cultivation of major donors, development
and support of the capital campaign leadership committee,
establishment of a productive annual giving and membership program,
special events, sponsorships, planned giving, named opportunities,
endowment giving. In addition the development director will establish
and oversee programs for donor cultivation, recognition and
stewardship at all levels of giving capacity, and will maintain
accurate donor records.  We are seeking an exceptionally creative,
energetic and innovative professional with an strong interest in an
organization whose performing artists define the cutting edge of avant-garde culture.
