New Brunswick Cooks! presented by FLEET

New Brunswick City Market Sets the Table and the Stage for Annual Event Saturday, September 20, 2003

Our objective is to organize an event to highlight the dining and entertainment establishments in the downtown and to promote our Special Improvement District (SID) as New Jersey's premier urban venue for dining, music, entertainment, and performing arts.

New Brunswick Cooks! will return in 2003 as a one-day event to keep program costs down and avoid confusion while creating a one-day showcase of New Brunswick's offerings. The City Market staff has attended several tasting events in the area, which have brought new and fresh ideas to this years Taste of New Brunswick, such as, opening the event to all New Brunswick restaurants/eateries and selling the event as a true taste of New Brunswick. City Market will also change the location of the event to create more space for patrons and improve the event layout by offering restaurants their own tent.
