Shadowfestival Amsterdam, 21- 26 November 2002. An international platform for creative documentaries. Special interest is shown for films that investigate the existing conventions. The festival is non-conformist in the sense that the selection clearly reflects the programmers personal interest in provocative and ambiguous films. All films are discussed after the viewing - by the programmer, the filmmakers and special guests. An effort is being made to give 'special films a special context'. www.shadowfestival.com
