Full-time, tenure track position begins August 2006. MFA or equivalent, significant national or international exhibition record and three to five years of full-time teaching experience. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
The new Department of Transmedia is seeking a qualified individual with a strong technical and theory background in new media and digital technology to teach, develop curriculum and act as the program coordinator for the interdisciplinary courses that will integrate the existing BFA degrees in Art Photography, Film Art, Art Video and Computer Art.
The successful candidate will also have a strong interest in working with the vision of the department in a collegial manner, while teaching studio and/or theory courses in any of the four areas, depending on specialization.
