I'm glad to introduce you to Atlas (Italy), a new project of mine that premiered during my solo show at Marsèlleria Permanent Exhibition in Milano some weeks ago.

The printer prints out a sheet of paper every 5 minutes showing 113 dots in correspondence of the bases, military installations and logistic U.S. or NATO / OTAN controlled by the U.S. and in Italy.

The number associated to each dot changes randomly.
The public is invited to take a print and start drawing from dot to dot to obtain a new geographical outline of my country.

(113), there are actually ‘some mistakes’. The reason is simple to explain: those “mistakes” were, to me, voluntarily and conspicuously placed, to preserve the anonymity of my initial informant.

Il numero associato ad ogni punto cambia casualmente.
Il pubblico è invitato a prendere un foglio e collegare i punti per ottenere un nuovo profilo del mio paese.

*…nella lista originale delle basi e/o delle installazioni militari o logistiche USA e/o NATO/OTAN (sotto controllo USA) da me pubblicata (113), ci sono effettivamente ‘alcuni errori’. La ragione è semplice da spiegare: quegli “errori” sono stati, da me, volontariamente e vistosamente inseriti, per salvaguardare l’anonimato del mio informatore iniziale.
