Be a part of LoVid's human QR code project!
U R QR is an interactive project that unfolds in both public and digital spaces. Each participant has their face painted in a pattern corresponding to part of a composite QR code. When images of all faces are combined, the code can be read.
The final assembled QR design—composed of portraits of participants–will be presented in a public space in Lower Manhattan as a culminating testimony for this collaborative process.
We are currently signing up participants for 30-minute portrait sitting sessions Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23 from noon to 6pm both days, during River to River Festival http://www.rivertorivernyc.com/artists/lovid/
South Street Seaport
207 Front Street, Manhattan
If you are in NY, we hope you can stop by. If not, please let your NY friends know.
Each participant will receive a limited edition artist book, and their image will be included in the public art poster.
The event is free and spots are filling up! RSVP here: http://lovid.org/urqr/register.html
UR QR is presented by LMCC as part of the River To River Festival 2013
