Forty-Seven Easy Poundcakes Like grandma Use to Make is an installation of a series of forty-seven digital drawings by Brooklyn interdisciplinary artist Nyeema Morgan. The drawings are amalgamations of forty-seven variable "easy poundcake" recipes gathered from the results of online Google searches, and including the artist's grandmother's recipe. All forty-seven recipes were sequentially edited into one another with redirected word placement and negated superfluous text. The resulting forty-seven drawings are completely unique, despite identical procedures, and information.
