A local move, in most cases, is a move done from city to city within a state or in a 50-mile radius from your current location.
The industry standard is to charge by the hour.
The rate depends on the number of movers and the number of trucks that are required for the job. Your estimator will make the proper determination. If packing is needed, that too is charged by the hour. Materials are charged based on actual usage.
Your standard moving insurance is included in the price. Additional insurance can be secured on the day of the move. Usually local moves are completed within 1-3 days depending on the circumstances.

The only other additional charges are as follows:

Materials of items that you were unable to pack or a moving pad would not be sufficient to safely transport.

Any access charges that are determined based on the difficulty from the truck to your front door. For example, a long carry over 100ft, multiple flights of stairs, or an elevator access.

Shuttle charge if necessary on destination.

Stairs within a residence is free of charge.

This price includes the following:


-Basic insurance coverage, which is $0.60 per pound per article.
-Expert padded wrapping of your furniture. Does not include: mattresses, electronics, artwork and/or glass
-Loading and unloading.

-All equipment and tools necessary to complete move.

-Disassemble and reassemble of furniture.

-All tolls, mileage and tax.



*Packing materials and packing schedule is extra.

Note: Weight is determined by a government certified weight certificate and will be attached to your invoice.



Terms and Conditions:

$150.00 deposit to schedule the job.

We require 50% of the estimated balance upon arrival to pick up location.

The balance of the job will be due upon arrival to destination location.
