Join us for the closing reception of Distributed Collectives, a show of artwork from the internet.
Manya Scheps will moderate a live, online discussion concentrating on the theoretical implications of both the little berlin exhibition and net art in general. The chat will be projected on one of the gallery's walls as the conversation unfolds. It will occur during the closing reception for the exhibition, and will serve as an ambient framing of the pieces in the show before they are powered down. This discussion serves both as an extension of the exhibition as well as an integration of it, informally and literally connecting the featured artists with each other and their medium.
An essay produced for Distributed Collectives by Manya Scheps titled 'Net Art: Black Sun, White Halloween' is available in the digital catalog.
If you are intersted in participating in the discussion remotely, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org for connection information.
