We are on the verge of exiting the obscure.
We have been told that crossing this threshold will result in our becoming
less entitled, more anonymous, more drearily bearing our portion of reality,
more struggling to survive at an ever diminishing subsistence level, more
likely to give up hope, more accepting of the status quo view of the artist
as drain on society rather than as catalyst of cultural production and
capable of creating endless varieties of lifeworlds, more like everybody
else
More and more willing to compromise

Join us, a semi-autonomous, motley crue of young artists, on THURSDAY,
AUGUST 15, between the hours of 6-8pm at WHITEBOX GALLERY in Chelsea, as we
celebrate with requisite Dionysian abandon, our collective foray into the
white walled world-abyss.
