The Urbano Project Presents: Inside/Out

JOIN THE URBANO PROJECT FOR 2 EVENINGS OF FREE TEEN ART & PERFORMANCE

Thursday and Friday August 13 + 14 at 7:00pm
at the Mobius Artists Space, 725 Harrison Avenue, Suite One, Boston MA 02118

The URBANO Project invites teens, families, and community members to join us for the final performances of INSIDE/OUT, URBANO’s first free arts workshop for teens. For two nights at the Mobius Artists Space you’ll have a chance to see original artwork created by Boston teens and witness performance pieces that tackle questions about identity, young people’s experiences in the city of Boston, and how artists can be involved in their communities as a force for positive change.

"The dynamic and sometimes rebellious nature of our youth can be channeled into radical energy to transform themselves and society. Our group of teens truly represent that hope, as they take risks to transform their own struggles through a new artistic vision."
- Mari Novotny-Jones (Faculty, School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston)

Visitors on August 13 and 14 will get a chance to meet some of the adult performers of Mobius, as well as LA-based performer and visual artist Gronk, ask questions about what it means to be a performance artist, and even interact with live performances. If you’re still curious, URBANO Project staff will be there to answer questions about upcoming free arts and performance opportunities for Boston-area high school students in partnership with professional artists.
