Portland artist Will Luers discusses his work in Net Cinema, as well as the materiality of cinema as it intersects with the internet through spatial montage, asynchronous loops, seriality, hyperlinking and locative media. His work uses grid structures in online video that call attention to the materiality of the process and function as fragmented narratives through the use of sound, image and time.
