Arte Laguna Prize in collaboration with Telecom Italia has launched the new competition "Innovative Interactive Tour on Telecom Italia's Future Centre". Open to creatives, architects and designers who have an innovative idea for the tourist and cultural fruition of the architectural spaces of the former convent of San Salvador in Venice, home of the Telecom Italia's Future Centre, the contest will award the winner 5,000 Euros, useful for the implementation of the project.
Telecom Italia's Future Centre has among its objectives the one of combining past and future through computer science, just where history turns into art. In fact, the Centre is home to activities of higher education, specialized workshops and international interdisciplinary project teams, developing research on the cities of the future, focusing on the conservation and enhancement of their artistic and environmental heritage.
Culture and technology have been increasingly interacting, and this new special award aims to identify a design idea that is able to tell the history, the art, and the architecture of the spaces of the Telecom Italia's Future Centre in an original way, and to help raise its value, acting as a link between past and future.
To enter the competition you must submit your application by February 15, 2014, enrolling on www.artelagunaprize.com. The best project will be awarded in March 2014 with a prize of 5,000 Euros, useful for the realization of the project.
