With your help, the Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) will launch an inaugural National Media Arts Prize in June 2014 that will recognize Canadian independent media artists.
We are looking to establish a prize similar to those existing in other arts sectors. Arts prizes national in scope exist for litterature, visual arts, music, theatre, but there are no prizes that honour the independent media arts exclusively. These cash awards are valued anywhere from 10K – 50K.
