We invite you to join us for a day in New York City at DELVE WORKSHOPS, April 13 and 20th, dedicated to working artists. Delve Workshops include networking, ideas and resources to breathe new life into how you communicate your art practice with the world. Our goal is to provide a productive, inspiring environment of exchange.
TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED INCLUDE:
• Artist statements
• Websites
• Writing emails, applications and proposals
• Business: taxes for artists, budgets, pricing work
• Legal issues for artists
• Peer networking and creating your own opportunities
• Portfolio development and review
• Maintaining your art practice, and more.
We are happy to be partnering with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston on the Delve Workshops. A number of guest speakers will share advice and talk about their experiences in the art world. At the end of the day, there will be casual portfolio reviews with your peers and the visiting guest speakers.
Each workshop is from 10am-4:30pm and the cost is $160. This includes lunch, coffee, refreshments and loads of exciting, inspiring information plus portfolio reviews with your peers, Kind Aesthetic and our visitors.
