2012 A.I.R. Studio Visit Lottery

Based on the A.I.R. “One on One” sessions from the 1980s, the Studio Visit Lottery provides an opportunity for NYC based artists to have a 45 minute, one-on-one studio visit with a curator, critic, or gallery director. Selected artists are required to attend a session with A.I.R. Gallery Director on “Making the Most of a Studio Visit.”

STUDIO VISITORS:
Mary Birmingham is the Curator at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, where she directs an ambitious program of contemporary art exhibitions.

Paddy Johnson is a writer, critic, and pop-culture connoisseur out of Brooklyn, NY. She publishes and edits artfagcity.com.

Wendy Osloff is Co-Owner of P.P.O.W now located in Chelsea, NY.

To enter via regular mail: Please send a check for $20 per entry (up to 10 entries) with your name, address, phone, email, and your ranked preferences for a studio visitor.

Artists are selected via a random lottery by July 20th, and will be notified by email before August 1, 2012.
