The residence is located within a natural reserve 25 minutes away from the city’s downtown area.

The full ten-week program provides residents with the following:
Private lodging with unlimited studio access;
A studio visit from a guest critic in addition to optional weekly critiques;
Weekly guided trips to sites of interest in Medellin;
Access to the Campos de Gutiérrez Library and Archive;
An exhibition or artist talk.

The curatorial committee will review the applications and select six to eight residents for the third session of 2012, which runs July 1st through September 30th. If needed, the foundation offers up to a 60% subsidy of the program fee, which is estimated at USD $700 a month (4 weeks). The fee does not cover board, transportation, or materials except for ceramic clay.
