Campos de Gutiérrez is inviting artists, designers, art historians, and curators to apply to its residency program housed in a 19th century coffee plantation in the foothills of Medellin. The residence is located within a natural reserve 25 minutes away from the downtown area.

The selected residents will be provided with the following: Private lodging with unlimited studio access; Studio visits from guest critics in addition to optional weekly critiques; Weekly guided trips to sites of interest in Medellin; Access to the Campos de Gutiérrez Library; An exhibition or a talk.

A curatorial committee will review the applications and six to eight residents will be selected for the second session of 2012, which runs from April until June. The foundation will cover two third of the program fees, which are estimated at USD $750 a month. This will lower the costs to approximately $250 a month. The fee does not cover board, transportation, or materials except for ceramic clay.
