At what point does technology meet humanity? Is it possible to teach a computer more than what we already know? The difficulty with making lifelike machines is that we cannot teach them how to act like they are alive. While they can perform specific tasks very quickly, the goals they are able to complete are limited by software restrictions. We cannot explain our own behavior enough to train a computer to follow it. A schism naturally occurs between nature and technology, started by technological barriers, and now remaining only because of our disability to define what exactly makes things act naturally. Can this gap be filled? Should it?
