FACEHUG is pleased to announce the launch of its second issue by the Swedish artist Johanna Gustafsson Furst. The edition will be presented in two consecutive, interdependent acts, drawing the spectator into a direct contemplation upon the veils constituting our perception of textual and phenomenal materiality.
FACEHUG is a conceptual text project initiated in 2007, inviting one individual artist each year to interpret the medium of the art publication into an optional format and edition, originating in the textual framework of each artist.
