Deadline:
September 8, 2008
Call for works for Impermanence, a one-night event in the La Lutta Project Space in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn on September 27, 2008.

Impermanence
Curated by Tanisha Christie, Natasha Chuk, and Caterina Mallone
Project Director- Peter Gregorio

Impermanence is active, unstable, and instrumental. Its fleeting state can be interpreted in many ways -- literally or conceptually -- exploring transformation, stasis, and everything in between in relationship to physiology, place, nature, media, ideas, stories, decay, love, and more. In one evening we aim to capture the broad possibilities that this elusive concept allows.

We are seeking works of photography, painting, film, and video that give the notion of Impermanence form, particularly those that are daring in scale or concept.

Submission Guidelines:

Photography/Painting
Please submit images of works on DVD or CD with an organized image list (printed or digital).

Film/Video
We will consider film/video pieces that are up to 15 minutes in length. Please send unedited, full-length works (no excerpts) of proposed work on DVD or as Quicktime files.

Media/New Media
Please provide a detailed proposal of what you would like to submit for review in addition to a work sample (stills or websites are recommended). Please specify your technical requirements, space needs, and what type of media project it is (interactive, web-based, etc.).

The deadline for submission is Monday, September 8 by 5 PM.
Please mail or deliver submissions to the following address:
