We as always are seeking video art pieces on an ongoing basis. Please send all works along with a synopsis, video stills and single channel video itself in .mov format via we transfer or sendspace to videoartcollective@gmail.com. Your works will remain on an ongoing loop amongst other video artists. A single video artist will be featured weekly whose work will run for the duration of that week 24 hours a day projected in the gallery windows along with several projectors and lcds.
We are also currently seeking abstract, sculptural free standing works.
In addition we are beginning to accept submissions for our Feb show.

Russell J Chartier is a video artist and owner of an alternative new media arts venue "Gallerie Chartier."
Chartier attended the College of Santa Fe. He went on to study Broadcast and Electronics Engineering at a graduate level at The Cleveland Institute of Electronics and received an MA at the University of Canterbury in Media Arts. He has also studied at Caltech, Stanford an Penn St.
He has spent many years working in Broadcast Television for various networks including A&E, The History Channel, YES Network and several others.
His work in the Video Art Medium explores multiple layers and focuses heavily on texture and color. Many of the images in his works are distorted and manipulated in various unorthodox in an attempt to create a visual depth where recognizable images will appear within the collage of manipulated images and textures.
