Fubar (/’fu:bar/, est. 2015) is an annual program focused on electronic experiments and research in contemporary error-themed digital art theory and practice. The main week-long program of exhibition and festival events starts on October 7, 2023 - both ONLINE and AFK at the MaMa net.culture club (Preradovićeva 18, Zagreb / HR) with other opportunities extending into the rest of the year. The program offers artist residencies, performances, lectures, conversations, workshops and a group exhibition.
Fubar 2023 is focused on the practices and value of DIY – Do it yourself, but for others with&//in art SOFTWARE | METHODS | ARCHIVES | COMMUNITIES | THEORY and other relevant facets of our shared contemporary electronic culture.
NO application/participation fee.Travel is (co)funded and events participation is paid.All Fubar events are free admission.
