Assistant or Associate Professor of Digital Art/Graphic Design, tenure track, beginning August, 2008. Salary competitive. Qualifications: an appropriate terminal degree (MFA, MGD, MDes) in new media, digital art, graphic design or visual communication; a broad-based approach to developing new media for both fine art and design applications; Macintosh platform experience; teaching experience and professional practice preferred. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the digital art and graphic design areas, faculty generally teach five courses per academic year; assist in digital arts program development, maintaining an active creative/ research practice; participating in curriculum development and student advising as well as performing service to the department, college, and university.
