The second edition of the media-space will deal especially with the relation of stage performance and new media. Presentations, lectures, concerts, and performances by international artists and speakers will put a stress on biofeedback, tracking, VJing in live performances as well as aspects of electro-acoustic music. Representatives from Steim (Amsterdam) and Ircam (Paris) will show their work. Various orkshops give the opportunity to work with different software toos like Lisa, Big Eye or Jitter. Additionally speakers from architecture, film theory and scenography will be a part of the event.

Born 1966 in Stuttgart, Germany
Studies in history and history of art in Stuttgart, postgraduated studies in culture and media management in Berlin. Works on his phD on film and art at the Braunschweig College of Art.
Since 1987 founding member of Wand 5 and Stuttgart Filmwinter. Festival for Experimental Film, Video Art and New Media. For Wand 5 he develops the conference and event media-space, which deals with the relation between New Media and space (information architecture, media based performance, online activism, mixed reality...)
Since 1993 curator of the International Festival of Animated Film in Stuttgart and since 2002 curator of the Video Art and Experimentalf film section at the Munich Film Fest.
