For those of you in or around Dublin, Ireland this coming weekend, I will be a new body of multi-media artwork and paper entitled, "Language of Light: Rhizomatic Visions of the Urban Network" at the UCD Clinton Institute for American Studies. The presentation will investigate experimental photograpic methods for envisioning and re-organizing the urban landscape.
This international conference examines historical, cultural and technical aspects of the relationship between the city and photography. It brings together academics and practitioners to examine and illustrate the role of photography in representing urban life and
landscapes, and in shaping urban ways of seeing.
