Zurich- and New York-based Alexander Hahn is a pioneering electronic media artist, whose works have been exhibited worldwide, most recently at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, United States of America; Kunstmuseum Solothurn, Switzerland; Museum der Moderne, Austria; Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea, Italy; etc. He is a recipient of the New York State Council on the Arts Grant, DAAD Berlin Fellow, Zurich Work Award, Cultural Prize of St. Gallen and the Swiss Federal Grant. Hahn is currently in New Delhi on a residency sponsored by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.

The electronic media art of Alexander Hahn explores the evolution of moments from event to memory, to forgetting, and to fiction. Recorded on a variety of openly wielded and concealed cameras, the works reflect a deeply personal look at a society obsessed with recording and archiving everything.
