Gail Priest is an artist, curator and writer. Her predominant mode of practice is sound, working as a composer for dance, performance and installation. She has performed her composed and improvised works live at various events and festivals around Australia. In 2003/2004 she was co-director of Electrofringe - a new media arts festival and is currently curating exhibitions and audio visual events around Sydney. Her day job is as associate editor of RealTime, Australia's contemporary cross-arts magazine.
